Ana was born and raised in Swansea and started her career as a dancer. She then entered the world of wellbeing as a fitness instructor. It was at this point that she came to yoga (albeit reluctantly at first) - being asked to undertake a teacher training by a former employer. Immediately however she fell in love with the practice and has gone on to train and teach around the world.
The story so far
With the dream of bringing hot yoga to her hometown, Ana was immediately engaged upon hearing about Hotpod Yoga in early 2013. In August that year she travelled to meet Nick and Max – Hotpod Yoga founders and in October that dream became a reality, launching Hotpod Yoga Swansea (the first franchise outside London) to a fantastic reception.
Following the success of Hotpod Yoga Swansea, in January 2015 the offering expanded – with a second pod travelling around the South Wales area offering the same highly accessible hot classes to the people of Llanelli, Carmarthen and Port Talbot – and even to the team at Ospreys Rugby. From September 2016 Ana will be expanding her scope further – now running Hotpod Yoga West Wales, based in Haverfordwest.
