From the very first class, Jameni fell in love with the feeling of peace and clarity attending yoga classes brought to her. Through her practice she realised that the time spent on the mat became priceless for her life off the mat. It was with this realisation she decided to undertake her yoga teacher training with Hotpod Yoga to delve deeper in to this ancient art and to be able to share it an accessible way. Jameni has since completed her YIN Yoga training and looks forward to sharing her love of yoga with you. In her classes there is an emphasis on supporting you to embrace your own yoga journey whilst being encouraged to explore new limits in your body and mind.

I came to yoga after injuries during dance training to help with recovery. I have been hooked ever since and use it to help with looking after my body but also to help with the stresses of everyday life. Although I love a good flow class I am also drawn to a nurturing class with lots of breath work.
I’ve dabbled in yoga for most of my life, but it was on discovering Hotpod four years ago that I really fell in love. Since then I’ve continued to broaden my yoga horizons – learning about many different styles and philosophies and combining my love of yoga with my love of travel. I still find nothing compares to the pod though – the warmth, the music, the teachers & the flow create the perfect atmosphere to create both a challenging workout for the body & an incredible sense of peace for the mind.

I first discovered Yoga when I was 18 and after one very sweaty class that blew me away I was hooked. I couldn’t believe the physical benefits, before discovering yoga I had to go to physiotherapy once a week for at least 2 years, I haven’t been to Physio since. That in itself was enough for me, I would say I started yoga for the physical benefits but I stayed for the mental. I became a yoga teacher because I wanted to share that magic and limitless feeling. You can expect my classes to be accessible, challenging, fun and most importantly to leave you with a little piece of magic.

Having worked in pharmaceutical sales It was during a year out in Australia that I was first introduced to yoga. Having always felt fitness was all about high impact, I began to love the feeling yoga gave me. My body began to feel the benefits of the stretches and my mind the benefits of connecting with the breath. After returning to the UK I continued my yoga journey with relaxing Hatha classes. A friend then introduced me to Hotpod and I was hooked. The heat helped my body release deeper into postures and the Vinyasa style energised me.
Yoga has always been a part of my life in some form or other, however, It wasn’t until after I had my son, 8 years ago, that I truly started to connect with Yoga on a much deeper level. I came to realise how Incredibly powerful Yoga is, especially when it becomes part of your everyday health and wellbeing. As a Holistic Therapist and wellness advocate, Empowering and connecting people to natural solutions for Mind and body health is something I am very passionate about. After spending a couple of years as a HPY regular, I decided it was time to take the jump and I traveled to an Ashram in Spain to fulfil my dream and become a yoga teacher.
