Looking Back: HPY Family Reunion 2019

Looking Back: HPY Family Reunion 2019

With more than 50 Hotpod Yoga studios in 8 countries, it sometimes be challenging to spend time together. Studio owners speak daily with the team at Hotpod HQ, but there’s no substitute for spending time together face to face. To make it a little easier, we hold annual Family Reunions to get to know each other a bit better and share stories, learnings and successes.

In 2019, the HPY Family Reunion was held on the Isle of Wight. More than 25 studio owners and all of Hotpod HQ met at Tom’s Eco Lodge and settled into cosy tents and cabins for a rustic weekend in the countryside.

Over the course of the weekend, the Hotpod HQ team (including co-founders Max and Nick) led training sessions in everything from social media to accounting. Studio owners also had the chance to compare stories and learn from each other’s businesses.

The main focus of the reunion was learning new ways for studio owners to improve their businesses, but there was also plenty of time for fun and relaxation. We had yoga classes, communal dinners, a picnic lunch, a pub quiz and even a silent disco!

At the end of the weekend, we held a rewards ceremony to acknowledge our studio owners’ achievements, with fabulous wooden spoons going to the studios with the most classes taught, best studio transformation, most summer challenge completers and more.

HPY co-founder Max led various presentations during the reunion, including a wrap-up at the end of the weekend.

Everyone went home with a fresh perspective, ready to implement their learnings and take their studios to the next level. Events like this really highlight the amazing Hotpod community that we’ve managed to build over the years, and we can’t wait for the next one.
