At Hotpod, we know your needs shift. Some days you want to slow it right down, other days, you’re chasing a challenge. That’s why we offer a mix of vinyasa flow classes to suit different moods, energies and experience levels.
Our go-to class, Hotpod Flow, is open to everyone, even if you’ve never been on the mat before. But if you’re brand new and want to ease yourself in, we’ve got slower-paced options to help you get comfy, find your flow and build from there.
Ever found yourself scratching your head and wondering — what’s the difference between all of these classes? We’ve got you. Here’s the lowdown on what to expect, what you’ll get out of each hot yoga class and how to pick the one that’s right for you.
Hotpod Flow
Hotpod Flow is our signature vinyasa flow. It gives you the space to move, breathe and tune in. This class makes up most of our timetable because it works for all levels and because it really does deliver. You’ll leave feeling energised, focused and ready to take on whatever comes next.
The structure is simple: a steady climb, a strong peak, then a smooth wind down. It starts with a moment of stillness, bringing the awareness to the body and the breath, and then seamlessly, you’ll move into a floor-based warm up. As the class builds — through a flowy standing sequence — so will your body temperature and heart rate, until it reaches its height just after halfway through. From there the pace slows. Expect grounding yoga poses, lengthening stretches and a final moment of stillness before you step back into the world. Every teacher brings their own flavour or focus, but that overall arc? That stays the same.
Options will be offered throughout so you can choose your own adventure depending on experience and energy level: you can crank it up or wind it down. This is the kind of class that meets you where you are, but offers you enough challenge to feel the shift.
Nurturing Flow
Some days, less is more. Our Nurturing Flow gives you space to really slow it down. It’s a slow vinyasa flow, focused on gentle and mindful movement. Expect minimal standing postures, longer holds and meditative movement. The heat will deepen your stretches and have you feeling mellowed out — you can watch your worries melt away. Whether you’re looking to cultivate calm, working with injury or low in energy but still wanting to move, this class is perfect. It’s also an excellent place to start if you’re new to yoga and want to get comfortable with the pod and the heat.
In our Nurturing Flow you’ll tune into the feedback your body’s giving you. Where is there tightness? Where can you let go a bit more? You’re not rushing through shapes, you’re feeling into them. It’s a chance to move with intention, reconnect with your breath and listen to what your body actually needs.
Slower doesn’t always mean easier. When we wind down the movement, we begin to notice the mind. Returning to the body when the mind gets busy is a skill that gets better with practice. Finding calm on your mat will help you find calm in your day-to-day life.
Foundation Flow
New to yoga? Coming back after a break? Just want to strip things back to basics? Foundation Flow is the one for you.
It’s a gentler, dialled down version of our Hotpod Flow — with extra guidance, more time to settle into the poses and a big focus on the fundamentals. You’ll move through the same arc as our signature Hotpod Flow (stillness to start, a gentle build, then a wind down), but at a pace that gives you space to figure things out as you go. You’ll still build heat in the body, but with more time to breathe, explore and understand.
This class is perfect if you’re looking for yoga for beginners, want to focus on mechanics or just keen to understand how things work before turning up the heat. You’ll be offered clear cues, helpful options and the kind of support that leaves you feeling confident, not overwhelmed.
Dynamic Flow
Feeling fired up? Our Dynamic Flow is the one to go to when you want to turn things up a notch. It’s our most physically challenging class —faster-paced, sweatier, with more challenging poses weaved in throughout.
You’ll move through the same arc as the Hotpod Flow, but the sequences are stronger, the transitions quicker and the effort dialled up. Expect stamina building flows that get the heart rate climbing. This class is suited for those who have some experience in yoga and who are looking to deepen their practice.
The Dynamic Flow is definitely spicy. You’ll leave feeling strong, accomplished and a bit wrung out (in the best way). If you’re craving a challenge, this class brings it.
Rest and Restore
Whether you’re easing out of a hectic schedule or just craving time to reset, this class helps you slow the spin and settle back into yourself. Couldn’t everyone benefit from more effective rest?
Rest and Restore is our only non-heated class and does exactly what it says on the tin. This is your time to relax, breathe and physically do…very little. No standing postures, no flowing sequences — just gentle movement, long held supported poses with blocks and bolsters and calming breath techniques to help you fully switch off. This class also includes Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation that feels like a power nap for your mind.
This yoga class makes the most of the Pod’s ambient vibe and gives you an opportunity to completely pause and experience a powerful recharge. The more you flex your relaxation during a Rest and Restore, the easier it will be to access rest in general —especially when your head hits the pillow. Come as you are, this class welcomes all.
Your practice, your pace: choose what feels right
No matter which class you land on — whether it’s the mellow vibes of the Rest and Restore or the strong pace of the Dynamic Flow, or something in between — remember: every class is built with options. You’ll always be encouraged to listen to your body, take breaks when you need to, sip water, or take a moment in child’s pose. There’s no pressure to push beyond your limits, just gentle encouragement to meet yourself where you’re at.
So take your pick, give something new a go or stick to your favourite —there’s something for everyone and every mood.
