About the studio

Welcome to Hotpod Yoga Stratford-upon-Avon. This is hot yoga… but not as you know it. Our classes take place inside our signature pods. Heated to 37 degrees, with low lighting, calming scents and relaxing beats, they create a fully immersive space to switch off and tune in.

The benefits of hot yoga show up quickly. Muscles loosen, lengthen and move more freely, making it the ideal yoga for strength, while helping you improve flexibility and providing the perfect yoga for recovery from whatever else you’re training for. The heat eases stiffness, helps relieve back pain and supports better posture. It’s just as powerful for the mind: real stress relief, lower anxiety and the kind of calm that helps you sleep better at night.

No two classes are the same. Our teachers come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their own energy, style and focus. Slow and grounding or strong and dynamic, there’s something for every body. Whether you’re looking for yoga for beginners or are years into the practice, you’ll find the class for you.

What our customers say

  • Jake

    London

'From walking in to leaving the pod, the experience is simply amazing. The teachers are excellent, attentive and kind, making it a really great place to work and grow your practice. The ambience is perfect, and has now become a key and frankly unavoidable part of my busy London week. It is the peace I need to keep things going!! Cannot recommend this highly enough.'

  • James

    Newcastle

'As a fit middle aged man I was finding that working out was not addressing all the aches and pains I was starting to experience. The weekly hour long yoga session has worked wonders and I am now pain free including my shoulders which I directly attribute to the weekly session I have been having for two years. It is an amazing way for me to start my week, mentally it is a fantastic boon for a busy dad of three.'

  • Maria

    Hove

'I've never really enjoyed yoga, I've always found it too serious, too painful, too grown up, too many instructions, too overwhelming, and just too heady. But I loved every minute of Hotpod! Every minute was nice and kind and it was really body positive as well really low lighting. Thank you so much, I think you’ve got this spot on.'

  • Paula

    Mansfield

'I can tell you that it has improved the quality of my life exponentially and it did this within 3 sessions. Don’t be put off by the thought of being in a heated pod, the heat really really helps! Don’t be put off by your level of fitness, body shape or having the right clothes … no one appears to care, plus it’s dark (not pitch black), and the session facilitator (there are quite a few and they are all exceptionally lovely) gives you different options to try!'

    Frequently asked questions

    Is yoga good for strength?

Very. Yoga builds real, full-body strength using your own body weight. Legs, core, glutes, shoulders, back. The lot. You’ll feel stronger in class, but also in everyday life. Better posture. Better balance. Less creaking every time you stand up from the sofa.

Can yoga help recovery after exercise?

Yes. Especially if your body feels tight, heavy or overworked after training. Yoga helps improve mobility, circulation and flexibility, while easing muscle tension and stiffness. Great for runners. Lifters. Cyclists. And desk workers pretending they’re still 25.

Can yoga help with stress relief?

Absolutely. Yoga is one of the simplest ways to switch off a busy mind and calm a busy body. Breathwork, movement and heat work together to lower stress levels, release tension and help you properly unwind. Most people walk out feeling lighter. Mentally and physically.

    What time should I arrive?

Please arrive around 10 – 15 mins before the start of your class. The doors are locked when the class starts for security so we’re not able to let anyone in after the class has begun. Try not to arrive more than 15 minutes before the class start time, as there may still be people leaving from a previous class, plus our teachers will be getting the studio and pod ready to welcome you.

If you know you will not be able to make it, please cancel your booking via the website or app so someone else can take your place. If it's within the cancellation period you'll automatically get your pass back.

    What should I bring?

We provide mats (although you are welcome to bring your own). We recommend bringing plenty of water with you and wearing cool clothes as you will get sweaty. Yoga towels are required in all classes, but you can hire one from us if you forget. If you'd like to shower afterwards then bring an extra towel for that, or hire one of those too (please check with your local studio beforehand as facilities may vary slightly).

I’ve never done hot yoga before, will I be ok?

You will be absolutely fine! Just let the teacher know it’s your first hot yoga lesson, take the class at your own pace and remember you can take a restorative yoga pose and pause to catch your breath whenever you need to. Have a read of our blog on what to expect from your first Hotpod Yoga class to find out more.

If you are pregnant or under 16, then unfortunately you cannot come to our heated classes. If you have a medical condition you are not sure about, then please check with a medical professional beforehand.

I've been referred by someone, how do I get my free class?

If someone has given you their referral code, firstly - lucky you, you're in for a treat. To be able to get your free class added to your account, you will need to attend the same studio as your friend and enter the code when you create your account (in the box that asks 'Do you have a referral code?'). If it's not added then, unfortunately it can't be added later by you - but don't worry, you can contact the studio you are signing up to for help.
