Hotpod Yoga Notts has been delivering a ‘real-life’ approach to yoga since its launch in 2014 with pods in West Bridgford, Long Bennington and its gorgeous purpose built studio in the heart of the city!

You’ll catch us inflating with daily immersive classes that are suitable for every body and every mind: ladies, gentlemen, beginners, seasoned professionals, young and old! You need only bring water and a towel to enjoy the unique immersion that is a Hotpod Yoga class – an active and passive flow of postures in our other-worldly 20 person inflatable Pod – heated to 37 degrees to supercharge the yoga experience. Afterwards? Your mind will be a little calmer; your body a little looser, and yes – you’ll be a whole lot sweatier.

How do I book?

All class purchases and registrations must be made in advance through our website or app.

Do I have to be a member if I just want to try and see if I like it first?

Becoming a Hotpod member is just the process of creating an account (you can use email and password or zip through with Facebook login), signing the disclaimer and buying your class pass or ‘membership’. There is no membership charge associated with this beyond which ever class pass (referred to as ‘membership’) that you choose to buy.

I’ve never been before, what pass should I get?

For newbies we have an Intro Offer which gives you 3 classes for £15 to be used in a 14 day period across any of our Notts studios.

Can I get a discount?

Maybe! We run a 10% class discount for students and over-55s. Just zap an email to with a jpeg of your student card and we will send you your unique discount code which is valid against all class purchases; over 55s also get in touch. Then when you choose which membership you want to buy just pop it in the voucher box when you get to checkout.

What do I need to bring? What should I wear?

You just need a bottle of water and a towel to lay on your mat, you can hire one from us if you forget! We recommend shorts (with nets!) for men, and a t-shirt if you wish. Women should wear gym kit – legging/shorts and vest top (remember, it does get sweaty!)

Do you provide mats?

Yes, mats are provided – you’re welcome to bring your own, but there’s one there waiting for you (for free), just be sure to bring a towel to lay on your mat.

Do you have showers?

At our purpose built City studio we have three lovely showers – and hairdryers too.

Is there somewhere safe to keep my belongings?

We don’t have locker facilities, but all of our studios are locked during class, so whilst you’re zipped away in the pod, you can be sure your belongings are safe.

Is there parking?

As we are right in the city centre the street parking around us is reserved for residents and disabled spots 7 days a week. However the resident only restriction lifts between the hours of 8pm and 8am, so there’s a good chance you may get a spot right outside if you come to the 8.30pm classes… it is a bit tight using the street parking for at 7am class though, depends how risk averse you are! There are NCP carparks on Maid Marian Way, park and display street parking on Spaniel Row, and a small SIP car park under City House on Spaniel Row. Best bet is to check out the Parkopedia app or take a look at the options here . Whilst the Broadmarsh area is undergoing its major transformation this link will also give you up to date info on any changes in the area.

Where can I leave my bike?

With limited space and fire exit restrictions we don’t have room for bikes anywhere within 2 Stanford Street. Check this out for the nearest spot.

Should I eat beforehand?

Try not to eat less than an hour before class.

How hot does it get?

37 degrees – hot enough to have a good sweat, but not so hot that you will leave us feeling faint.

I’ve never done Hot Yoga before will I be ok?

You will be absolutely fine! All classes are beginner to intermediate, take the class at your own pace and remember you can sit down and take a break whenever you need.

What’s the purpose of the pod?

The pod allows us to create a wonderful hot yoga studio anywhere. It’s an amazing, tranquil environment to practice yoga. And we like inflatables – doesn’t everyone?!

I’m on the waitlist for a class, what happens next?

As long as you have a valid class pass or active membership on your account, if a space opens up you will be added automatically and receive an email notification. If this is within 90 minutes of the class start time then you will need to confirm your place via your account

If I am late to class and the doors are locked, what happens?

We are super punctual on start times and lock the studio doors as class begins, this is for the security of everyone’s belongings in the studio and also to respect the pod full of people waiting to start class.

When are the studios open?

The studios are open 30 minutes before and after each class. During the class and between classes the studios are locked.

Can I book someone in on my account?

Unfortunately not, all customers must have their own unique account and class passes cannot be shared.

I’m having trouble booking classes using the app, help!

Please make sure you have signed the waiver by logging into your account on a web browser before trying to book via the app. If thats all done, make sure you’re logged into the right account! If you’re still struggling contact us!

Can I do Hotpod Yoga while pregnant?

Unfortunately not. The heat makes it quite high exertion and raises the body temperature – both not entirely safe when pregnant. So, we recommend finding a great pregnancy yoga class and then coming to see us after the baby’s born!!

Can children attend Hotpod Yoga?

We’re afraid not! No under 16s allowed.
