Timetable at Hotpod Yoga Coventry

I found a love for hot yoga back in 2012 and immediately became addicted of the heat, sweat and positive effect it had her body. For many years, it was the only time I had to tune out the stresses and gruelling hours as a head chef and business owner back then.

Having had to travel 30+minutes to my "local studio", I stumbled upon Hotpod Yoga in Worthing my hometown and instantly loved the pod, the smells of essential oils and the positive energy oozing from the teacher, studio and the other students. After selling my food business, I knew I wanted to continue being my own boss and loved the idea of owning my own Hotpod Yoga studio.

I never thought all those years ago as a yoga student that I would become a yoga instructor and also be opening my very own yoga studio.

Whether you are new to yoga have dabbled in the past or are a "yogi", you will be welcomed with a friendly face and can expect a warm feeling from the heat, a chance to raise your heart rate as well as time to calm the mind away from the the daily grind and noise. As I liked to say to all my existing yoga students, "this is your body, your practice, you do not have to do all the postures", so come and join me on the mat and find your Hotpod feeling!

Laina’s love for yoga started back in 2008, when she walked into a yoga class not even being able to touch her toes, but rather than feeling defeated and never going back to another yoga class, she saw this as a real challenge and never gave up. 

Laina has been teaching yoga for over 10 years, alongside being a qualified Personal Trainer. Her approach to yoga is one that is very dynamic, achieves results and is fast flowing whilst being creative with the asanas and flow.

Laina’s main goal in life is to be able to teach people how to move freely in without pain.
 
Yoga is very much a part of her everyday life, as she knows the benefits it has had not only on her body, but also her mind.

Georgia has always been active and loved to move her body. When the 2020 lock down forced her to pause it gave her the time to create a disciplined daily practice. Her love for yoga deepened and as she learnt more about not only the physical but mental benefits to this sacred practice as she embarked on her teacher training.

Hungry for more she recently visited India to complete a 300hr training which has transformed the way she looks at herself, others around her and life in general.

She believes that yoga is for everyone despite many common misconceptions. She aims to create a safe space for others to connect to themselves, take a pause and look within. She encourages everyone to give themselves the time and space they deserve to nurture their body mind and soul.

Welcoming all abilities on to the mat with comfort and reassurance. You won't regret it!

Zoe has been practicing yoga for over 10 years, and after experiencing the transformative mental and physical benefits that it brought into her life, she decided to deepen her practice by completing a 200-hour Teacher Training. Having qualified she is now excited to share her understanding of the Vinyasa practice and how the emphasis on breath and movement can powerfully link the body and mind, through regular practice. ‘Yoga has provided me with mental clarity and a sense of calm, as well as bringing physical benefits like strength, toning, and flexibility. My journey so far has been truly rewarding, and I am passionate about sharing the emotional well-being that yoga has brought into my life, my intention being to inspire others to feel empowered, balanced, and present, which is exactly what yoga has done for me’.

My journey started after having my two children ( both late teens now). I had fallen in love with all things health and regularly attended a mainstream gym partaking in crossfit , weightlifting ,pilates, spin classes you name it I was there!

I added yoga into that routine to help recovery, I went to my first class expecting just a bit of stretching, wow I was wrong. There was so much more to yoga than stretching.

It wasn't until 2023 that I decided to take my yoga teacher training after suffering a trauma injury that left me struggling to even get out of bed for 7 months. I was told I wouldn't be able to do any of my regular active lifestyle , I was devastated. Id recently began pole fitness and have a pole shoot booked in 9 months time. That was the moment I decided to re write my story.

I wanted to qualify not only to help myself but to help other who have maybe experienced the same and to give them hope in movement and the stillness the yoga practice can provide.

My background I have come from 25+ years in beauty and massage therapy, so I feel I'm born for the wellness industry and I'm on this earth to help people.

Hi, I’m Jamie, a personal trainer and health coach with a lifelong passion for movement. My journey with yoga began from a performance perspective, where I discovered its power to enhance my physical abilities and cultivate a greater sense of inner peace.

My family motto, ‘Stand Sure,’ symbolized by an oak tree, has deepened its meaning through my yoga practice, grounding me in a philosophy of sustainable performance, both on and off the mat. This foundation allows me to explore movement with greater purpose and energy. To me, yoga is a continuous journey of self-discovery that extends far beyond the physical postures.

Having completed my teacher training with the Hotpod family, I am passionate about creating a space where you can explore your own strength. My classes are centered on the mindful connection between movement and breath, fostering a deeper internal awareness. Movement is a personal journey, and I am excited to welcome you in the pod to discover and grow. Like a tree, our potential for growth is endless.
