Timetable at Hotpod Yoga Loughborough

I started hot yoga when I was working for a large food supplier. I was time poor and wanted to get a sweat on without having to think. Hot yoga gave me more than I could have imagined. I knew I wanted everyone to try this out and that’s why I opened the studio in Nov 2019.
My classes are fast paced and punchy, you'll know you've done a class but leave on a high rather than exhausted!

Isabel is from Portugal, she trained as a yoga teacher in February 2019 with Dylan Ayloo, in Sri Lanka. Her training was based in vinyasa power yoga with elements of Forrest yoga. She enjoys teaching vinyasa yoga classes mainly to beginners or people who wants to improve their yoga practice. Personally, she likes to practice intense power yoga although, there are times she really enjoys a less intense flow or restorative yoga.

Laura grew up in Loughborough and fell in love with yoga and meditation in 2016. With a background in Dance she craved something that would allow her to regain flexibility whilst building strength and Vinyasa yoga was it! In 2018 she travelled to Rishikesh, India to complete her teacher training in Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga and was lucky enough to teach in Sri Lanka. Her training combined with a degree in Human Biology and personal practice allowed her to gain a deeper understanding of the physical benefits yoga brings to the body and the emotional benefits it brings to the mind. Laura loves early morning classes which gently wake up and energise the body and mind, setting you up for the day.

Amanda is a Sports Therapist and works at Loughborough Osteopathic clinic and works with a wide range of patients. She has over 15 years of clinical experience.

She completed the RYT200 hour training with the Yoga and Aryuveda Centre then went onto do her Hot Yoga CDP in London. Amanda grew up on the beautiful sunny south coast of England and is passionate about yoga, pilates and of course hot yoga!

Liv started practicing yoga 5 years ago to help with her mental health, and when she found and fell in love with Hotpod Yoga there was no turning back! She found it to be a nurturing and empowering environment where she felt capable of anything. Liv knew she wanted to help others achieve this feeling and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training. Liv loves a fast paced vinyasa flow but also a warm hug of a Nurturing flow class.

George first found yoga in 2011 whilst volunteering in Sri Lanka. On her return to the UK, she experimented with a variety of styles to compliment her creative lifestyle before finding Sun Power Yoga that challenged her with juicy backbends and invigorating inversions.

George returned to Sri Lanka in 2017 to complete her yoga teacher training with Quantum Yoga founder; Lara Baumann. Following this, she started her teaching career at retreat centres across the island.

She has since been back to study with Lara and assist her in delivering the 2018 and 2021 Quantum Yoga teacher training courses in which she received the 500hr certification. George aims to challenge students in their yoga practice with playful compositions and extraordinary asanas whilst soothing them with her compassionate and peaceful nature.

Her laid-back vibes naturally led her to explore Yin Yoga; a passive practice that aspires to work deeper into the connective tissues of the body through long held poses. George travelled to Vancouver in 2019 to train with one of the pioneers of Yin Yoga; Bernie Clark who has an entertaining and informative teaching style that contrasts mythical stories and scientific insights. She has experienced that practicing a combination of Quantum and Yin Yoga maximises physical health by balancing strength, endurance, and flexibility whilst stabilising heart and mind.

Amber started her own yoga journey 12 years ago, first for a purely physical pursuit before realising all the mental benefits aswell. Having tried many styles of yoga she found hot yoga to be her favourite and has never looked back. She has been teaching hatha yoga for over 18 months, with her passion lying in helping others heal from life stressors and is very familiar with the hotpod flow from years of practice.

Lisa's yoga journey began in 2013 when she found it helped hugely with her migraines. Her teaching style is centred around creating a space where people can feel free to explore their connection to breath based movement, with huge emphasis on the power of the breath, and tuning in to the body's own intelligence both on and off the yoga mat.

In 2015, Pete turned to yoga as a way to rehabilitate his body from martial arts injuries. Initially, yoga was merely a supplement to his martial arts practice, but over time, he realized that its benefits extended far beyond the physical. As he explored various styles, starting with Ashtanga and eventually embracing the warmth of Hotpod Yoga, Pete found himself drawn deeper into the practice.

What began as a tool for recovery evolved into a true passion. In August 2019, Pete completed his 200-hour teacher training, marking the beginning of a lifelong journey. Today, he is dedicated to sharing the transformative power of yoga with others, hoping to inspire them to experience the same freedom and presence that he has found.

Sally started practicing yoga about 10 years ago, initially enjoying the strong physical practice. Since then, she has worked in various roles centred around helping others, and yoga has become a more and more important source of self-care.

Sally is passionate about the regulation our nervous systems can experience when we pair breath with movement. Because of this her classes are simple, with an emphasis on listening and responding to what your body wants and needs. By engaging in this practice we can ground ourselves and replenish our sources of compassion, ready to step back out into the world and do good!

Charlotte experienced first hand the countless benefits that yoga can have, and was inspired to complete her yoga teacher training. Her classes combine breath-led, intentional movement with strength and mobility, helping you to build confidence, improve flexibility and develop a stronger connection between mind and body. Charlotte's aim is to create a welcoming space where everyone feels supported, encouraged, and able to enjoy their practice.
