Gary completed his Yoga Teacher Training at Hotpod Yoga Teacher Training in Hackney, in 2022.

Gary came to explore his yoga practice from a personal journey of sustaining life changing injuries. His teaching style is one that allows space for curiosity and exploration of your unique body.
Gary holds and encourages a space of giving consent to yourself during your practice on the mat, and self-acceptance of your body and practice.

Lauren's main love and passion has always been martial arts but unfortunately with contact sports can come a lot of injuries. After sustaining some damage to her neck she was recommended yoga as part of her recovery and she has never looked back. 

Since becoming a yoga teacher in 2017, Lauren's passion for good, healthy movement has grown. She likes to teach strong yet reflective practices that allow space for acknowledgement of how the body is feeling and reacting in a posture.

Lauren's ethos is yoga is for everyone and will never place pressure or expectation on you to do every posture if that doesn't feel right for you in that moment.

Lily is has been teaching yoga within the Sussex area for over 5 years. Having completed her teacher training at a local studio, where she now teaches, she went on to explore yoga all it’s forms on and off the mat. Lily is trained in vinyasa flow, restorative and yin with a heavy teaching emphasis on listening to your body and moving with the seasons. Having worked separately in support services Lily believes in the power of holding space for others and using mindfulness as a tool for healing.

At 19 yrs old, I attended a Hot Yoga class and was hooked. Over the years I felt drawn to Vinyasa Flow due to its dynamic nature and more recently Restorative Yoga as I love experiencing how the long holds create space in my joints and between my thoughts.

In 2004 I gained my Degree in McTimoney Chiropractic in Oxford. Soon after this I fractured my elbow from a bike accident and not wishing to go down the Western Medical route, I flew to Thailand and was pretty much fixed up in a few weeks through massage. I love the East and have total respect for their methods of healing so I decided to stay for a year training.

2 years ago I retired as a Chiropractor to take some time for me and focus on Yoga, Sports Massage and lecturing. I am currently an accredited Massage Tutor.

‘Movement is Life’ is my premise as movement brings healing, I love to share my knowledge and learn from others, I really look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your Yoga journey at Hotpod Yoga.

An experienced yoga teacher & Yoga therapist Bryony has been sharing her love of yoga since 2008 and is just as passionate about the many benefits of Hot Yoga today as she was back then.

Anna found Yoga in 2017 and fell in love with the practice from the very first class. She then completed the 500 hrs Teachers Training in India in Ashtanga/ Vinyasa style and has never stopped her daily practice and learning about yoga.

Through practicing yoga, mindfulness and a healthy lifestyle herself, Anna has learnt how important it is to listen to what our body really needs and that finding balance is the key to a strong body and mind.

Anna wants to welcome everyone to her classes and make the practice accessible to everyone. Through sequencing of Vinyasa she would like to encourage her students to have fun, learn, explore, grow and do their best.

Anna welcomes you to the pod and looks forward to guiding you through the practice of yoga.

Greg is originally from a small town on the west coast of Scotland. He absolutely loves living in Hove and equally loves the practice of Yoga.

Greg qualified as a Yoga Teacher in Agonda, South Goa at a school called Sampoorna.

Greg creates a safe space in which to practice yoga in the pod, and is looking forward to stepping in the pod with you for your next Hotpod class.

Juliette completed her yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India. She is keen to honour yoga’s roots in her teachings and recognise the wide philosophy’s spiritual lineage through an authentic practice that she hopes to share with her students.

Juliette describes herself as a yoga seeker; always a student first, teacher second. For this reason, Juilette promotes accessible classes for all, being a strong believer that yoga can help everyone with both the struggles of daily life and more complex issues too. She loves to teach beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

I've been practicing yoga for 13 years now, having been on a journey with my own practice starting with Ashtanga and Bikram, before eventually finding vinyasa and embodied flows.
I teach yoga because I enjoy holding a space where people can connect to themselves and de-stress from their day to day lives, using cues that help people connect to their body, be mindful of where they may be holding tension and hopefully help them release it. I understand that everyone in the room is on their own journey and just by turning up and being there, they've already created space and time for themselves to lean into.

Elle Dillon-Reams is an artist and yogi with a deep passion for creativity, connection, and self-expression. Inclusivity and accessibility are at the heart of her teaching, and she is dedicated to creating safe, welcoming spaces where every body feels seen and supported.
Her classes are nourishing and knowledgeable, blending playful exploration with powerful, grounding practices.
Elle’s approach is warm, approachable, and empowering. With kindness and consideration woven into everything she offers, she invites students to move, breathe, and show up exactly as they are.

Originally from New Zealand, Jennie offers an approach rooted in alignment, mindful breath, and nervous-system awareness. Jennie completed her foundational training in India and has returned to further her studies, continuing to learn in the UK and through ongoing international mentorship.

In Jennie's classes you will experience a calm, supportive space to slow down, reconnect, and cultivate embodied awareness through gentle, intuitive practice.

Nikki's classes offer a welcoming space. Guided by the therapeutic application of yoga, she aims to nurture the emotional and physical wellbeing by exploring variations and bringing greater awareness to each posture, helping students reconnect with their bodies, switch off from the outside world, and leave feeling more grounded and prepared for life outside of the pod.
