After responding to what he can only describe as a sudden and deep yearning, Clive began his yoga journey around eight years ago, studying under some of the finest teachers that Thanet has to offer. He quickly discovered the physical benefits of yoga, finding relief from the aches and pains brought on by long hours spent weeding at his allotment. What he hadn’t anticipated, however, were the profound changes yoga would bring to his mind and spiritual experience of life.

In 2023 and again in 2025, Clive chose to expand his practice and deepen his understanding of yoga by travelling to its spiritual heart — Rishikesh in Northern India, nestled on the banks of the Ganges in the foothills of the Himalayas. There, he studied multiple styles of yoga, with a particular focus on Hatha and Yin. These experiences proved to be truly life-changing.

Clive is a Yoga Alliance registered 500-hour yoga teacher, with additional specialisation in Yin yoga. Complementing his yogic studies in Rishikesh, he also trained in Sound Healing at the Himalayan Academy of Sound, where he developed a strong affinity for the deep resonances of gongs and Tibetan singing bowls.

He has long been fascinated by the way sound can deeply affect emotional and mental states, and how simple tones can bring about profound shifts and a sense of peace.

Through yoga and sound, Clive’s ambition is to share the benefits he has experienced firsthand, helping others find moments of peace, restoration, and balance in an increasingly hectic world.
